The omega-3 fatty acids contained in Omega-3 Arktis are derived from natural cod liver oil, sourced from sustainably managed wild fish stocks in the Arctic Ocean (Friends of the Sea certified).
IFOS certification confirms that the omega-3 supplement has been tested by an independent laboratory for quality, purity and safety. This means that the product meets very stringent standards regarding heavy metal content, dioxins and PCBs, fat oxidation levels, and the actual amount of EPA and DHA declared on the label.
NORSAN Omega-3 Arktis has a TOTOX index of 1.5–4, which indicates a very low level of oil oxidation. In practice, this means that the oil is fresh, stable and retains its health-promoting properties.
