Total Gut Restoration Kit
The Comprehensive Gut Regeneration Programme has been designed for people struggling with gut problems and their consequences. TGR targets three key areas: the microorganisms that make up the microbiome, the cells that form the gut lining, and the gut-associated lymphoid tissue (GALT).

How does it work?
The advanced 3-step TGR programme, the Total Gut Restoration (TGR) Protocol, has been designed to address all three key areas that determine gut health. The 3R programme utilises highly resilient probiotics (MegaSporeBiotic™) that increase the biodiversity of the microbiome, targeted prebiotics (MegaPre™) that selectively nourish health-promoting bacteria, and amino acids and flavonoids (MegaMucosa™) that support the regeneration of the intestinal mucosa.
A simulation of the human gastrointestinal tract mucosa (the M-SHIMER system) was inoculated with stool samples from patients with inflammatory bowel disease. The samples were supplemented for 5 days with the TGR system (a mixture of bacterial strains comprising MegaSporeBiotic™, a mixture of MegaPre™ prebiotics, amino acids and prebiotic flavonoids comprising MegaMucosa™). Compared to the control sample without supplementation, a significant increase in the production of short-chain fatty acids and beneficial changes in the microbiome were observed: production of IL-6 and IL-10 increased, whilst production of MCP1 decreased.
Additional information
The TGR programme lasts for a minimum of 3 months. We continue with it until symptoms subside, after which we switch to maintenance doses or those recommended by a specialist.
1 MONTH: MegaSporeBiotic™
Adults and children aged 10 and over:
Week 1: 1 capsule every other day with a meal
Week 2: 1 capsule daily with a meal
Week 3+: 2 capsules daily with a meal (2 capsules at the same time)
Maintenance dose: 2 capsules (taken together) with a meal 2–3 times a week
Children under 10 years of age:
Dosage to be determined by a therapist.
The capsule may be opened and its contents added to a drink or meal.
MONTH 2: continue with MegaSporeBiotic + introduce MegaPre™
Adults and children aged 3 and over:
Week 5: 3 capsules daily (with a meal or on an empty stomach)
Week 6+: 6 capsules daily (with a meal or on an empty stomach)
Maintenance dose: 6 capsules daily once a week
The capsule can be opened and its contents dissolved in a drink or meal.
3 MONTHS: continue with MegaSporeBiotic™ and MegaPre™ +
introduce MegaMucosa™
Adults and children aged 3 and over:
Week 9: 3 capsules daily with a meal or between meals
Week 10+: 6 capsules daily with a meal or between meals
Maintenance dose: 6 capsules daily once a week
Please note! The TGR system should be combined with a balanced diet based on unprocessed foods. Ask your specialist what the optimal diet is for you.
Remember to drink plenty of water too!
